For viewing the wrl file you need a VRLM-player. I think cortona is a good choice. The wrl-file is less detailed as the preview image for better handling.

In cortona I prefer to adjust the speed for better handling. Menu>Option>Navigation>Speed:

speed 1024 / rotation speed 1
